What You Need to Know
Keep the packet Safe
Store the packet in a safe, accessible place at home. It should only be used during virtual snow days.
Daily Schedule for Virtual Snow Days
11:15AM- 12:15 PM: Virtual Homeroom and Morning Work
Students check in with their teacher via Google Meet or begin working on assigned packet pages.
12:15PM- 1:15PM: Lunch Break
1:15PM- 2:15PM Afternoon Work Session
Students complete additional packet pages or join live Google Meet support.
2:15PM- 3:15PM: Specials
Virtual lesson will be provided by Specials teachers.
3:15Pm- 4:15PM :Individual support
Teachers will be available via email or small group Google Meet sessions for additional help.
Daily Attendance
Attendance will be taken during the first and second homeroom work sessions.
Students are expected to return completed work assignments for the day(s) upon returning to school.
Students who complete the work with effort will retroactively marked present, even if they did not attend virtually.
Accessing Google Meet
On a Personal Computer
1. Open a web browser (Google Chrome is recommended)
2. Go to google.meet.com
3. Click "Join or start a meeting"
4. Enter the Google Meet code provided by your child's teacher (e.g.,HESLastname) and click "Join"
On a Mobile Phone or Tablet
1. Download the Google Meet app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the app and log in with your child's Google account.
3. Tap "Join a meeting"
4. Enter the Google Meet code (e.g.,HESLastname) and click "Join"
